When it comes to seamless
online video
experience and engagement,
Chrome
extensions
play a pivotal role. Many of us are familiar with popular extensions like
video
players and YouTube video
downloaders
. However, one particular extension that has proven to be a game changer in the online video
streaming service
is the YouTube Comment Search (YCS) extension.
The YCS Chrome extension is a high-performance tool designed to enhance your YouTube watching experience. This top Chrome extension features a quick search by timestamp, author, content, and offers an export function for comments, replies, chat replay, and video transcripts. You can enjoy flexible (fuzzy) search, multilingual search, and even search by emoji. It works perfectly in incognito mode, loads unlimited comments, and offers a range of search categories.
User Reviews and Ratings
The YCS Chrome extension holds a commendable aggregate rating of 4.39 out of 5, with high praises coming from its user reviews. Users adore its efficiency and multifaceted functionality, with some calling it a "Great plugin" and a "MUST HAVE extension". Despite a few hiccups with YouTube's changing interface rendering the search UI invisible, users still recommend this extension for its excellent features when it's working smoothly.
Concluding Thoughts
Overall, the YCS Chrome extension proves to be a must-have tool for anyone keen on extracting the most value out of their YouTube watching and streaming experiences. Despite minor issues, users' reviews affirm the extension's usefulness and efficiency. So, if you're seeking to streamline your online video engagement, choosing this chrome extension might just be the perfect choice for you.

Doesn't work anymore. Top alternatives I tested: - YouTube Comment Kit - TubeLens (more focused on AI stuff) - YouTube Comment Search Cont. - YouTube Comment Navigator
Yeah, doesn't work in Chrome anymore. Works fine in Firefox.
doesn't work, not sure why it's still available to download.

Stopped Working
It used to be my most frequently used extension before I found TubeLens.
Not working anymore. Good alternatives: YouTube Comment Kit and Comments Search for YouTube.
It USED to work a long time ago.
Useless. Doesnt work.
Not working, I using TubeLens instead
currently working as usual (after periods of sporadic unreliability)! TIP: if it's not working for you, you may need to disable your Youtube Ad blocker. I use many ad blockers and the one called "Adblock for Youtube™" is incompatible with this extension. After turning that one off this works perfectly!
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you
this used to work on bing and chrome, plsss fix
It works fine for YouTube videos comments but what about searching comments in YouTube shorts? Why doesn't it work for them. The author should make it compatible with YouTube shorts comments section search as well. Keep up the good work.
my first extension staring for this S-TIER chrome extension :D
WORKS AGAIN, TRUST ME Loved this extension I use it so much for literally everything and it was just amazing, but it didnt work for a couple months because of a youtube update but im glad its working again, definitely reinstall or just install for the first time, this is a must for youtube
powerful useful great ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Works as expected, just wish it was initially hidden, likely of me using it is 4/10, so it would better if the button to show the filter block to be inside "Sort by" drop down menu as an item where apon clicking it shows the filter block or at least provide it as option in the settings.
As of right now it works again. : )
It stopped working for some time, now it works perfectly again. This rating needs to be updated
